Caliboard gives plans structure in space: dependencies become visible, comments stay attached to decisions, and approval applies to an exact revision.

You comment on individual steps. Feedback remains tied to the revision you actually reviewed.
The agent acknowledges every comment, explains the change, and updates the same plan.
Implementation begins only after you explicitly approve that exact revision.
The Caliboard MCP connection lets supported coding agents create plans, wait for review, respond to feedback, and record approval without copying plan text between tools.

Caliboard turns a coding agent’s structured implementation plan into a visual map. You can inspect dependencies, comment on individual steps, review a revised draft, and approve one exact revision before implementation.
Yes. Caliboard complements native plan mode: the agent researches and writes the complete plan as usual, then uses the Caliboard MCP to publish a visual review surface before it starts implementation.
Setup is available for Codex and Claude Code. After setup, the client opens browser sign-in when Caliboard needs account access.
No. Caliboard’s workflow requires the agent to keep waiting while you review, respond to every submitted comment with a new draft, and implement only after you explicitly approve the current exact revision.
You must sign in before creating, editing, or saving plans and whiteboards. Hosted plans and boards are scoped to your Caliboard account, and plan text and board content are excluded from product analytics.
Caliboard focuses on hosted MCP plan review: spatial structured plans, revision-linked step comments, and approval of an exact revision. Plannotator also offers visual review for agent plans and code through a local browser-based workflow. The better fit depends on whether you want a hosted spatial plan loop or a local plan-and-code review surface.
Caliboard is free during beta.
