Plan review, without losing the thread.
Connect your coding agent to Caliboard’s hosted MCP. No Caliboard checkout or local server is required.
Connect your coding agent
Setup is available for Codex and Claude Code. Run each command for your client in a terminal, then follow the sign-in instructions. Caliboard then becomes the visual review step whenever your agent enters Plan mode—no special Caliboard prompt is required.
Codex
codex mcp add caliboard --url https://caliboard.pro/mcpcodex mcp login caliboardIf codex isn't recognized, use these instead (requires Node.js/npm):
npx -y @openai/codex mcp add caliboard --url https://caliboard.pro/mcpnpx -y @openai/codex mcp login caliboardComplete sign-in in your browser, then restart Codex.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user caliboard https://caliboard.pro/mcpRestart Claude Code, run /mcp, and sign in.
Never paste access tokens, passwords, or sign-in codes into chat.
Create and review a plan
- Use your coding agent’s normal Plan mode. After researching the repository, it publishes the plan to Caliboard automatically.
- Open the Caliboard link it provides and inspect the plan’s steps, dependencies, risks, and decisions.
- Add comments to individual steps, then submit the complete feedback batch to the waiting agent.
- The agent acknowledges every comment, publishes a revised draft, and waits for your next review.
- Approve only the exact revision you want implemented.
Signing in, submitting feedback, or receiving an agent response never counts as approval to implement.
Account and data handling
- You must sign in before creating, editing, or saving plans and whiteboards.
- Hosted plans and boards are scoped to your signed-in Caliboard account.
- The MCP plan workflow does not sync arbitrary files from your computer.
- Product analytics are off until you opt in, with no session replay or automatic click capture.
